I received a call from someone at Curry's, but their accent was quite difficult to understand. It was a bit of a struggle to catch the rest of the conversation. I told them I wasn’t keen on what they were offering and ended the call.

I received a rather dodgy phone call from someone claiming to be with Curry's, apparently trying to sell me an upgrade for my mobile device. The chap had a distinct Indian accent but couldn't even recall my name or any of my details as a customer of theirs. He was quite insistent about getting my email address and asking what my monthly payment was. I declined to share any personal information, and eventually, he just hung up. It struck me as a classic case of telephone phishing or unsolicited cold calling. I highly recommend steering clear of divulging any of your personal or contractual information to such callers. It feels suspicious at best and downright fraudulent at worst.

Someone reached out claiming they could slash my mobile bill by a whopping 40%. Their accent was quite thick, and I struggled to understand their English.

I noticed it flashed on my Fitbit, but it didn't actually seem to ring at all. How peculiar! 😑

Whatever you do, don’t simply ignore or cut the call. I had a feeling it was a scam, yet I stayed on the line. They’re merely after a verification code, which they’ll receive from the genuine O2. Once you share that code with them, you might as well wave goodbye to your security!

Nuisance call, I say! Best to steer clear.
They claimed to be associated with Curry's.
Tried to sell me an iPhone 13 Max Pro for a mere £10 monthly!

When they inquired about my current phone and I remained mum, insisting they should remove me from their list, they began to hurl insults. Unbelievable!

I've received numerous calls from this number, claiming to be from O2 and requesting my four-digit passcode. It's definitely a scam, so be cautious and don’t be fooled!

Received a call from this number a mere couple of minutes after I was targeted by yet another scam attempt from a different line. I've since blocked both of them, but I can't help but wonder if there's a connection, as the timing seems rather suspicious.

Oh dear! They've now taken on the guise of Currys! 😂😂😂😂 It's nothing but rubbish, folks. Best to steer clear of it!

I recognised it was a dodgy call right from the off, so I thought I’d have a bit of fun. They kicked off with the typical spiel about some free upgrade or other, then wanted to know which phone I owned. I replied that they ought to remember since they were the ones who sold it to me! Her scripted responses couldn’t handle that, so she went through her pitch again and even suggested I could speak to her supervisor. 😂 I told her not to bother, that it was a shame she hadn’t succeeded in her little con, and I found her methods utterly disgraceful. We exchanged a few courteous farewells and then I promptly blocked the number.

I tried calling, but it went straight to voicemail. There was some sort of noise left, yet no actual message was recorded! How typical!

Claimed to be from 02 and mentioned I’d get a 40% discount on my bill since they’ve lost customers due to COVID. Seriously considering blocking this number!

It’s a right con job masquerading as O2. These dodgy individuals are making the impending issues much simpler to come to terms with and even get involved in.

Gave them a ring, but as soon as I picked up, the call cut out completely. How odd!

Received a call purporting to be from O2. They mentioned wanting to discuss an upgrade for my mobile phone or possibly my contract. I gathered they were proposing a discount on my existing plan. However, the individual on the line had a thick accent which made it quite tricky to catch all the details of the conversation.

I was informed that the caller was associated with O2, and they mentioned that I would be getting a 40% discount on my next bill because they’ve lost quite a few customers lately.

BEWARE! This lot are posing as representatives from O2, trying to sell you the idea of a discounted phone or even a freebie thrown in. Whatever you do, don’t part with your O2 password! If you’ve already gone along with their “upgrade” spiel, contact O2 directly and halt that dodgy upgrade pronto.

I tend to avoid picking up calls from numbers I don’t recognise. I used the call screening feature, and didn’t respond to this one. It's on my block list now, for sure!

I've received a couple of calls from the number +443330119140 today, and they rang me back-to-back. Oddly enough, I had a similar experience just yesterday. Feels a bit dodgy, so everyone should stay vigilant!
