Got a ring from someone claiming to be from o2, I asked them why my phone flagged it as a possible scam, and then they just hung up on me.

This number has rung me up a handful of times trying to convince me I could get 40% off my O2 bill. When I asked how they're calling from an unregistered number, or if they could show me my account details, they just ended the call straight away!

Somebody said they were calling from O2 and wanted a few details, supposedly to help me reset my password or something. They promised loads of freebies and special discounts that sounded way too good to be real. After that, they sent me an entirely different item than what I expected, and then asked me to send it back to some 'warehouse' address. Turns out it’s just a sneaky trick to take out a contract in your name and end up with a brand new phone for themselves. Proper dodgy behaviour!
