I’m pretty certain it’s a scam just like all the others. They claim you’re getting some 40% off deal out of nowhere, but then they ask you to give them a security code sent to your phone. That code is the same one O2 sends you if you ever try to reset your account password. Basically, they’re trying to hack into your account by sneaking that code off you.

Seems like a classic scam to me. They said they were from O2, but who just rings you out of nowhere saying you can grab a 40% discount? The person on the phone was clearly reading from a script, 'cause any time I asked a question, she just repeated the same lines. I asked for the info to be sent over but I doubt that’ll happen. And if they do send you some kind of code, for the love of god don’t use it - it’s probably a trick to get into your account.
