Like what others have said, this definitely seems like a scam. It’s quite worrying considering how many scams are going around these days.

Every single day, I get a call at exactly the same time. It rings twice and then stops. The number showing up is 02038378986. When I try ringing back, it redirects me to 03330110023. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam and probably drains your account with high charges. This all began after I gave some money to a children's cancer charity called RING THE BELL. I think it’s really unfair because now I’m hesitant to send donations through my phone. Blocking the number doesn’t seem to help either. Has anyone else dealt with this or got any advice?

I gave 3 quid to Unicef and now this number, 02038378965, keeps ringing me. When I call it back, there’s an automated voice saying it’s Unicef and to ring 03330110023 if I want to opt out. But after seeing all the comments here, I’m not so sure about calling that second number. Guess I’ll just block the 0203 number instead.

I've been getting loads of calls from someone saying they're from Greenpeace. They ring me non stop and eventually tell you to dial 03330110023 to make the calls stop. Feels dodgy to me, is it some kind of scam?

So, just to share, I think this company called GLA] /contact/ handles those annoying phone calls. They seem to be working for a bunch of charities. From what I can tell, the number they give you to ring if you want to be removed from their calling list isn’t a premium one, which is a relief. Hope that helps!

Got a random call from someone claiming they were a charity and said I should ring 03330110023 to remove myself from their mailing list. Had a look into the number afterwards and turns out it’s a premium rate line, definitely a con.

I keep getting calls from this annoying company, Litton, who say they’re ringing for some “charity.” It’s the same number as before, 020383788986, which I've already complained about. They tell you to call that number if you want the calls from the 0203 line to stop. Feels like a scam, probably one of those pricey premium rate things where you follow all their instructions and end up footing a huge bill.

What a waste of time, just hang up! These annoying scam calls are such a headache. The authorities really need to crack down on them!

I rang this number hoping they'd stop calling me, but when I tried to enter my number, the call kept interrupting me. When I attempted to hang up, it just wouldn't disconnect. I freaked out a bit before remembering to switch my phone off completely. It ended up costing me about £20, and if I hadn’t had a free credit top-up, I’d have lost everything. This sort of harassment shouldn't be allowed. This all started after I made a donation via my mobile - definitely won’t be doing that again.

The RSPCA calls me loads, sometimes twice daily, so when I saw a missed call from them I called back. They said if I ring this number, I can be removed from their calling list. I usually give them donations but I've been told these calls are mainly to ask for more money. Fingers crossed they actually stop calling now as I just can't afford to keep donating.

I've been trying to call to have my phone number taken off the children’s cancer charity list, but every time I call it tells me my number isn’t valid. I’ve called about four times now and it keeps happening. Feels a bit dodgy, is this some kind of scam? x

We've been getting calls from 02038378477 claiming to be from Water Aid, but when we tried calling back the number left on their voicemail to stop the calls, it felt dodgy. We haven't actually rung them from our end yet, just worried this might be some sort of scam.

I kept getting loads of calls from the number 02038378451, so I decided to ring them back. They told me to contact 03330110023 if I wanted to be removed from their calling list. Turns out, it was the Red Cross calling me.

Got a missed call on my mobile from 02038378473. Tried calling back using a landline, and a recorded voice says it's from Listen working for Save the Children. They gave another number, 03330110023, to opt out of further calls but when I ring that one, it just cuts out - no one answers. Feels pretty dodgy to me.

I received that message too, but I haven’t taken any action so far.

I got a call from a number claiming to be UNICEF asking me to remove my number from their call list. But when I tried calling back on my landline, there was no answer, just silence. Feels like yet another fake number to me, not sure if it’s legit at all.
