Got a call from a guy who spoke with an Indian accent, saying he was from Fone City or something like that. He claimed to be partnered with all the mobile networks and had access to customers’ numbers. When I brought up GDPR stuff, he got a bit rattled and started pushing some deal on new mobile phones with a 35% discount or whatever. After googling the company, it seems like they’re a scam - apparently they trick people into giving personal and financial details, order phones that get intercepted and stolen. Best to just block, report and stay well clear of them!
