Got a call yesterday from someone claiming to be from EE. I didn’t really trust it so I asked him to give me some details about my account. He said he couldn’t because of data protection rules. He was trying to check my account to help me save some money. I asked how many numbers I had on the plan, he gave me a vague answer. I’ve found a handy trick for stopping certain numbers bothering me - I set up a contact named ‘Spam’ and blocked it, then whenever I get unwanted calls, I chuck the number in there. It actually does the job really well! I got so many I had to make ‘Scam 2’ and ‘Scam 3’ as well, coz I’m definitely not deaf, and I’ve got no accident claims or PPI to sort. Now those annoying callers just can’t even ring through.

I receive calls from this number quite regularly, at least once a day. To make sure I don't answer, I add it as a new contact on my phone and name it, "Do Not Answer...". This way, whenever "Do Not Answer..." calls, I simply ignore it without any issues. Not surprisingly, the "Do Not Answer..." contact has quite a large and growing family, as they all get added to my contacts list. A mate of mine is working at a call centre for an agency that deals with EE over in Rotherham. From what they said, the script they have to stick to right now includes some cheeky questions like asking who you live with.
