I reckon it had something to do with PPI or something along those lines. He asked if I’d ever taken out a loan, and when I said no, he asked again. I requested to be removed from their list, but he kept pressing, asking if I was really sure I hadn’t taken out a loan, like I’d suddenly forgotten my own finances... I asked again to be taken off the database, and he said he could do that but wanted to know if I’d had any car finance or whatever. Then he started going on about how he could help me. I told him once more to just remove me and that I didn’t need any help, especially as he sounded like he was having a giggle with someone else the whole time.
