I rang my doctor's surgery and the receptionist couldn’t tell me why that number would have contacted me. There was no voicemail left by whoever called. Usually, if I get a call from an unfamiliar number that doesn’t say who they are and my phone doesn’t recognise it, I just block it straight away. The downside is I might miss something important, like a genuine call about my health. If this is meant to be a legitimate service, they really need to improve and not leave people wondering. For now, I’m assuming it’s a spoof and will block the number.

I answered the call and kept saying hello, but there was no reply and it was completely silent on the other end. After a bit, I just ended the call. I've since added the number to my block list.
