What a rip off, this number 03330 035961 has taken £133.00 from me. I called Vodafone, and they said I had to contact this number to cancel a subscription. It’s unbelievable that after signing up with a mobile provider, you have to deal with this mess on your own. We’re pensioners and we don’t do those downloads, games or that FaceTime social media stuff. Really not happy with how things are nowadays and how older people get treated. Utter nonsense!!!!

UME is an absolute rip-off. I rang the 0333 number and got stuck on hold forever, or sometimes it just went straight to voicemail. Mobiplanet is definitely dodgy. O2, Vodafone and the rest of the networks know what’s going on but they still let it happen. They should be held responsible for not keeping their customers safe from scams and fraud.

It's pretty obvious that UME MP is a scam. What really bugs me is that Vodafone isn't taking any steps to stop these charges. To make things worse, Vodafone is still providing services to UME.

Seems like we got tricked as well. It showed up on our business bill listed under Purchases. I called Vodafone to ask what it was about and they said it was UME .MP. Can't believe after looking up the number online that loads of others have been getting this for almost 9 months. Vodafone really should be doing more to stop their customers falling for this scam.

Had a look at my O2 account today and noticed three charges of £4.50 from a company called UME Ltd this month. I messaged O2, and they told me to text STOP to them and ring for a refund. Tried calling but it just goes to voicemail asking for my name and number, and they’ll get back in 2 working days. Messaged O2 again tonight, and they’ve blocked all 3rd party stuff on my account and gave me an email to send a complaint to. Feels like a scam to me, maybe even some dodgy gov authority involved. Fingers crossed I get my money back.

For the past five Sundays, these con artists have been sneaking £4.50 from my account without me realising. Vodafone clearly knows about this issue and gave me a number to ring for a refund. If they refuse, they handed me the contact details for the phone payment regulator to report it. Seriously, this kind of thing shouldn’t be happening at all. I’ve been charged more than £60 and it feels like a scam to me - tried calling the 03 number but no one picks up. The voicemail message speaks too fast for me to catch the right email to send my complaint. Vodafone keeps saying I need to call this number but they just won’t answer! It’s awful that this sort of thing goes on - I’m switching from Vodafone as soon as I can, never had such issues with EE!

03/03/2018 yeah, this is definitely a scam. I never signed up for anything like this, yet I got a text saying I had and they took £4.50 from me. I figured it was dodgy and thought their plan was to get people to reply so they could charge a crazy high rate, so I just deleted the message since I never subscribed anyway. I check my phone bill loads every week and ended up calling Vodafone, who have now blocked the number and said they'd give me a refund. I’ll be keeping an eye on next week’s bill to make sure the block is working properly.

Just noticed they took 9 quid from my account this month and I’m with 02. It’s mad because no sane person calls if you’ve not used your phone to buy anything. Definitely a scam from the company, absolute rubbish. Luckily 02 banned them from my account and sorted me out with a refund, thank goodness for that.

Just found out my son's been getting charged £4.50 every week for about 6 weeks, always on a Sunday. Rang Vodafone to check it out, but they seemed clueless that this was happening to loads of folks. Told them about this site, and they said he must've agreed to some kind of subscription. I might believe my 10-year-old is that clueless to do it, but I seriously doubt everyone else here is as careless! No clue how they're getting into his phone and taking money from me too, so I've asked Vodafone to block any more purchases on his line. Fingers crossed it stops now!

Since November 21st, I’ve noticed an extra £4.50 on my bill every Tuesday. I called Vodafone customer service and they said they’d stop the charges, so I’m waiting to see if the next bill shows that. Meanwhile, I tried calling 03330035961 to check who it belongs to, but all I got was a recorded message saying someone would call back within 24 hours - still no response though.

i totally agree with what was said earlier. ive seen extra fees on my vodafone statement for 2 months linked to this. at first i believed it was some kind of activation fee since i got a new phone recently, but then the latest bill had multiple £4.50 charges from these people. make sure u check your bills careful and ask your provider to block any costs from this number straight away!
