Got a call from someone claiming to be a British Gas engineer. Honestly, it sounded so robotic, almost like it was some sort of AI scam. Definitely dodgy.

Some bloke claimed he was calling from British Gas and started chatting about price hikes. I quickly said I wasn’t interested, and he just went “Alright” but kept pushing about sending someone round to fix something. Tried to be nice and explained he wasn’t really hearing me, but eventually I ended the call because he clearly wasn’t giving up!
