Got a call this morning from someone saying they were British Gas, which I’ve never signed up with. Earlier, I also got a dodgy call pretending to be PayPal. Definitely fishy!

I got a call from some bloke called James who was all about offering me a no pressure mortgage review. Told him straight away I don’t even have a mortgage, but he kept pushing, trying to see if there’s a better deal for me. Ended up hanging up and blocked his number, but since then loads of calls are coming through from numbers that all look pretty much the same.

They rang me but didn’t bother leaving any message even after I said to please leave one or I’d block the number. Pretty sure it’s just some sort of spam or sales pitch. Have blocked them now.
