I received a phone call regarding washing machine warranties that aren’t even real. It seemed they were pushing for me to enrol in new insurance schemes. When I politely declined, the chap on the other end became rather snappy, remarking, "Well, it may be fine now, but just wait until it conks out; that’s when you’ll need insurance." Quite taken aback by his tone, I found it all rather off-putting.

Warranty for my washing machine! This fella kept calling me non-stop, and I had to explain that my warranty expired ages ago. I told him I’d simply purchase a new washing machine when this one finally gives up. Then, he had the audacity to inquire if I had any savings! Can you believe it? He went on about how expensive they are. What a cheeky chap! I made it perfectly clear that my finances were none of his business.
