They give out throwaway phone numbers to get in touch, but the one they list as their main contact actually links back to a website if you look it up. They managed to con my elderly relative out of £249, then started hassling me like she was the one who had a debt. Debt for what exactly? Nothing at all!2 monthsApparently this number belongs to a firm named nexusrepairuk. My mum got a call from them, maybe from another number, with pretty much the same yarn as mentioned here. They took £299 from her to “extend” her washing machine’s warranty, but what she got in return was a pointless slip of paper with no details about the warranty or how long it's supposed to last. After digging a bit, it turns out this company doesn’t actually handle any electrical repairs, it’s registered at a flat, and the phone number they gave just leads to an answerphone.
