They kept ringing me, trying to convince me they're from O2 and that my contract needs renewing. Thing is, I just renewed back in July for another 3 years, so that just wasn’t true at all.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Smart Connections, supposedly ringing from O2. Thing is, I've got my O2 account set to block marketing calls and my number's on the TPS list too. When I asked for more info about the company, the woman just ended the call, which made me think she knew it was dodgy. She didn’t sound very fluent either, like English wasn’t her first language. Feels like a spam call coming from abroad, maybe some call centre in a developing country. Definitely going to report it.

These lot keep ringing saying they’re from O2, but it’s just nuts how often it happens now. At the very least a couple times every week for like half a year, always a new number, but always kicking off with “your O2 contract needs renewing.” What’s daft is I’m actually on a rolling contract, no expiry or anything. Proper mental!
