Got a call from someone saying they were with SSE gas and electricity, saying they wanted to send an engineer to check my supply and move me over from my current provider to SSE. The bloke sounded quite polite and asked some sensible questions, like they knew what they were about, but when I mentioned the number had been flagged as spam, they kept going - made me wonder if it was a bot. I couldn’t really tell since I ended the call straight after they asked who my supplier was. It was a well-spoken guy, but I'd be careful if you get a call from this number or any related ones.
