Absolutely a scam! Received a call supposedly from Smart about upgrading my phone. The background noise felt very sketchy—definitely sounded like some dodgy call centre in India.

Had an encounter regarding two contracts that had expired, with a chap on the other end who had an Indian accent. Despite my clear refusals, he insisted that I 'listen' to him. Quite frankly, I found it rather off-putting, so in the end, I decided to hang up.

I have a feeling this might be a con artist; after I picked up, there was a lengthy pause before they began speaking. The background noise sounded off, and the accent was definitely not local. I decided to hang up and make sure to block the number!
