They used really rude language, saying they wanted to f*** me and come over to suck my d***. It was so gross.

Just like others said, they rang me up with a “Hello, how are you?” but didn’t even say who they were. Then they went straight into asking if I had any issues with leaks or anything. I just told them, “That’s none of your concern, buzz off.”

Got a call out of nowhere about some damp issue they said I reported to housing. Never made any complaint like that, feels fishy to me, definitely a scam.

You'll never put an end to scams if no one bothers to report them. I saw a post about this on here last night, just a few posts down from the top. These scammers rely on the fact that loads of people in the UK don’t take the time to complain. That’s exactly how they continue fooling everyone.

Have a look at the entry about 9 or so posts down from here. It explains clearly what action we should take to help shut down these scams. The fraudsters really take advantage of the fact that loads of people in the UK either don’t bother reporting or don’t even know where to report. That’s why they keep getting away with it. I was just watching that BBC show on scams (this site hides the programme name). You can catch it on iPlayer.
