I've come across a rather daft automated caller asking me all sorts of questions. I'm not interested in indulging their nonsense, so I plan to block their number.

She claimed to be reaching out concerning some housing issues of mine. Totally baffled, I replied that I had no clue what she was on about and promptly ended the call.

When it comes to issues with home repairs, I haven’t got any myself. But I can tell you this: if ever I did, I wouldn’t dream of hiring anyone who’s pestering me over the phone. Best to avoid them entirely!

I received a call inquiring about any issues we might be facing in our home. I was a bit taken aback and asked for clarification, to which they mentioned something about cracks, or whatever. My partner then chimed in, asking them who they were and where the call was coming from, and just like that, they hung up – clearly a scam!

Yet another fraudster has struck! They harvest your phone number from the shadowy corners of the internet and then peddle it off to all manner of businesses. As a result, you end up bombarded with a seemingly endless array of calls and messages. It’s a right nuisance!

I recently had the housing repair team come round to investigate issues with my home. The peculiar thing is, I don’t actually have any issues! They were absolutely convinced that there were signs of damp or mould lurking about, but in reality, everything’s perfectly fine on my end. Quite the mix-up, I must say!

Just had a call that set my alarms ringing! Out of the blue, some fella was probing about whether I had damp issues or any fissures in my walls. The synthetic voice sounded quite genuine, to be fair. However, there was a jarring pause before answering me, and it was apparent that the replies were rather scripted. A classic case of a dodgy repair con if ever I’ve seen one!

I received a call from someone claiming to discuss an issue with my housing. I kept insisting that I had no such problem, yet the caller continued to probe about potential issues like black mould or dampness. After declining any kind of issue several times, they abruptly ended the call. It struck me as quite odd, especially as this came soon after I made a call to Papworth housing.
