Received a telephone call purporting to be from British Gas. My husband remarked that it had the feel of a pre-recorded message, as if they were simply playing back a recording rather than having a genuine conversation.

It feels like a bit of a ruse, much like British Gas marketing their services. It appears rather convincing at first glance, but I must say it’s just a recorded message.
