Got a call from a blocked number, tried ringing back but no response. Definitely seemed like a scam.

Yet another number that seems dodgy! They decided to call me at a rather inconvenient hour last night, which left my wife quite irritated as she was jolted from her sleep. She picked up the phone, only for the call to disconnect straight away. Quite the nuisance, really!

Got a call from this number claiming they’d sorted out a plan cover for my washing machine and naively I believed them. As soon as I realised, I rang my bank and got my card cancelled so they couldn’t take anything. Thankfully, no money’s been taken so far, so it was a close call really.

No idea who keeps calling from this number and annoyingly they don’t bother leaving any voicemail. I’ve had to block it but then I get calls from very similar numbers with the same area code popping up loads throughout the day. If it was really important to reach me, they’d just leave a message saying what they want.

Over the past few days, I've gotten calls from a number just one digit off from this one, which I reckon was another scam attempt. My phone company noticed and flagged it as suspicious, so I ended up blocking it.
