I got a call from 0331 630 1273 where the bloke knew my name and said my washing machine warranty was nearly up, asking if I wanted to renew it. I told him he was having a laugh since I haven't bought a new washing machine in over 25 years. Then he just hung up on me. Proper cheeky!

I wasn’t really sure who was calling, the company name was unclear. They kept ringing me up, trying to convince me to get insurance for my washing machine by throwing out guesses that were surprisingly on point to gain my confidence. They were quite persistent, calling loads of times until I finally answered.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I just ignored it and blocked it straight away.

Received a call from some dodgy lot claiming to be McAfee. They said my computer was infected and that a guy from Aoi Tech Solutions needed £100 for some software to fix it. I even let them access my PC, but luckily caught on it was all a con before handing over any money. Proper scam, total waste of time.
