Apparently, this is the number to ring if your smart meter stops talking to British Gas. I've been trying to get through for ages now, but I keep hearing a message that no agents are free to take my call - maybe they're evacuated due to security stuff, or their system's knackered! I reckon the number is genuine, but who knows, maybe it's some weird scam. Can't quite figure out what sort of con would be going on here though.

Got a number I don’t recognise harassing me. They’ve called me like three times over a few days. The first two times, I got voicemails but nobody actually said anything. I could hear some sort of noise and muffled voices in the back, but nothing clear. Definitely not waiting on anyone from that number. Seems fishy to me, so I’ve blocked it.
