I got a call and when I answered, they just cut off straight away. Had a look at the other comments and seems like it’s some kinda scam. Wasn’t quick enough to block or report it before they ended the call so frustrating!

They told me I could get a tax refund for PPI, but I was sceptical. Even though their pitch sounded quite convincing, I just ended the call because it didn’t feel right at all. Trust me, just ignore them.

Got a call about some PPI refund they said I was owed. I sounded a bit doubtful and they ended the call pretty quick, like under a minute. Wouldn't bother with them.

Got a call from +44 331 630 0339, they claimed I’d been overcharged on a PPI check and asked me for my NI number. Sounded a bit dodgy to me!

Got a call where they asked for me by name, claiming I hadn’t received all my PPI refund back in 2020. Then they wanted my email, which I gave them. Next, they told me to open my email while still on the phone to sign something. That’s when I realised something was off, so I told them I was busy and just ended the call.

Got a call from some lass claiming to be from Samson Collier on 03316300339. She said I was owed £750 from a PPI payment from 2018 that I'd never received. I told her that everything's been sorted and there must be some mistake. Then I just hung up.

Got a call from this number earlier today. The lady claimed she worked for a legal firm and could help me recover compensation from M&S linked to the PPI claims I made back in 2020, but then the line just dropped. I called back on 03316300339 and spoke to a guy who kept calling me “mate” and said he was from Samson Collier lawyers. Turns out Samson Collier is a real firm, but it’s barely more than a one-man show and feels quite dodgy. Feels like just another PPI scam to me. Alan

Received a ring from this chap who identified himself as Sal. He claimed I was in line to receive £750 from an old PPI claim. He mentioned that his firm, Samson Collier, collaborates with HMRC. My suspicions were raised when I noticed some laughter in the background. He was after quite a bit of personal information, but I refrained from sharing anything. I swiftly cut the conversation short and promptly blocked his number.

I got a call where they already had my name and address, then started asking for my National Insurance number. I didn’t give it and they just ended the call. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.

This number called me out of the blue, and the bloke asked for me by name. Said he was ringing from Samson Collier about some old PPI stuff and a tax refund I might be owed. I told him I’d already had a call like that and made it clear I wasn’t interested and didn’t want any more calls. He then said there was nothing logged about me opting out. I firmly said no more calls from them, thanks. *BEWARE* If you let them handle your tax refund, they’ll charge you a huge chunk - like 40% or even more - from whatever you get back. Best to steer clear completely.

I received a call regarding a PPI claim, where they insisted I was due some compensation. They already had my name and address, which was rather concerning. Then, they requested my National Insurance number for HMRC purposes. I wasn’t comfortable sharing that, so I politely declined, and they ended the call abruptly.

I received a phone call from this number, and the chap on the other end addressed me by name. He claimed to be calling from Samson Collier regarding some past PPI claims and mentioned a potential tax refund coming my way. I informed him that I'd already received a similar call from them, during which I explicitly stated I wasn't interested and requested not to be contacted again. He insisted that there was no record of our previous conversation. I reiterated that I wanted no further communication from their side. *BE WARNED* If you decide to have them assist with your tax refund, you could end up losing an eye-watering 40% or more from your rightful amount, with only the remainder sent back to you. *STEER CLEAR AT ALL COSTS!*

I wouldn’t share my name and told them the number popped up as scam on my phone. She replied that it’d happened to her too since she uses an android. I made clear I wasn’t going to give my name or answer any security stuff, and they said we weren’t going to make progress. I said I was ending the call and said goodbye. Afterwards, I looked the number up online and blocked it. Something about it just didn’t sit well with me.

I adamantly declined to share my name, informing her that the number had flagged as suspicious on my device. She acknowledged this, admitting the same issue with her Android. I reiterated my stance on not revealing my name or answering any security queries, to which she responded that we weren't making any progress. I ultimately decided to end the conversation and said my farewells. Afterwards, I took to the internet to investigate the number further before blocking it. Just didn’t sit well with me.

I firmly declined to share my identity and mentioned that the number appeared as fraudulent on my device. The woman on the other end acknowledged this, mentioning she’s had similar experiences with her Android. I reiterated that I wouldn't divulge my name or answer any security queries, and she replied that we were just going in circles. I concurred, informed her I was ending the conversation, and bid her farewell. After hanging up, I looked the number up online and promptly blocked it. Something about it just felt off.

The person on the phone already had my name and address but wanted my email too. When they started asking for my National Insurance number, I said no thanks. I asked them to send me the documents about the PPI compensation they claimed I qualified for. They kept insisting there wasn’t enough time, otherwise I’d lose out. I told them I could receive an email straight away, but if they wouldn’t send one, then I’d rather just pass on the PPI and keep my NI number safe!
