Don’t pick up, just block em! They’re really annoying and keep bothering me. One day it’s some accident claim, next day they’re pretending to be from O2 or something else shady!

This number has rung me thrice over the last two days. Missed the call yesterday, so I looked it up here, blocked it, yet they've still called a couple of times today.

Does anyone know who owns this number and what they’re about?

They keep ringing but the moment I pick up, the call just cuts off. No messages left either, and I haven’t bothered to ring them back yet.

They said their name was auto-legal and told me they handle accident claims? Weird thing is, they already knew about this crash I was involved in not long ago.

They said they were o2 but I checked with them on Twitter and they said they didn’t recognise the number. They kept ringing me loads and even left me a couple of voicemails. Today, the woman on the phone even knew which shop I bought my phone from! I told her exactly what I thought and seriously hope I don’t get another call from them!

Not sure who that was, they talked so quick I couldn’t catch much. They said they work with prepaid gas and electricity? Weird thing is they somehow knew my name, but I don’t have any bills registered to me at all??

I’ve had a chat with O2 regarding this issue, and it appears there’s a group of individuals who are unaffiliated with O2, but have somehow accessed the entire customer database - perhaps a former employee leaked it. They appear to be orchestrating upgrade scams reminiscent of what we used to see in the old one2one stores. They might offer to upgrade your phone, pocket your cash, and vanish, leaving you with nothing but empty promises. Often, the devices end up being sold on platforms like eBay or Amazon. When you confront them with what you’ve discovered, they resort to using your personal details to intimidate you. They’re operating using a web-based dialler that rotates through multiple phone numbers, which is quite unsettling. It truly baffles me that O2 hasn't taken any legal action against these crooks. Based on their accents, I’d wager they're situated in the West Midlands.

Phone stopped ringing just as I picked up. Seeing what others have said, seems like a pattern. A few weeks back, someone called wanting me to upgrade my mobile. I said no and that I'd prefer to visit the store instead. The woman asked why, saying it’s cheaper over the phone. I told her I just want to know who I'm dealing with.

I received a call from someone purporting to be with O2, attempting to entice me with upgrades and SIM offers. I'd advise you to block that number as they're quite persistent and don't take hints easily. Best to save yourself the trouble!

Typically, we hardly receive any calls on our mobile due to the poor signal in our area. However, this particular call did manage to come through, though I was away from my phone at the time. I've noticed this number popping up now and then before, but I've chosen to ignore them in the past.

Tried to get me to ring an 0121 number, said it was o2. Sounded proper sketchy to me.

Turns out the calls are really from O2, but it's their franchise HQ. Not all O2 shops are owned by O2 themselves, so depending on where you did your upgrade, you might get calls from the head office that oversees that region. They rang me loads so I ended up ringing O2 myself to check it out.

I keep receiving calls on my mobile, even after I've made it clear that I want them to stop. It’s quite frustrating!

I missed the call earlier, and luckily I looked this site up ’cause I just finished my contract with O2. I might’ve thought it was a legit sales call otherwise. Cheers to everyone for the helpful info!
