I was puzzled when my normally tiny phone bill jumped to nearly five times the usual amount. Had a look and found out I’d made two calls lasting over an hour each from this number during a day in July when I was away on holiday. Don’t recall making those calls at all and I’d usually just cut off if a call dragged on like that. Maybe I got distracted and forgot to hang up? Either way, it ended up costing me loads for calls I definitely didn’t need!

In about 6 weeks, I've received 5 calls about some accident I supposedly had. I own quite a few cars, so I've been trying to find out when and where this accident happened, and which car was involved. Today, 2nd June 2016, they said it was my kitcar! That's only done 67 miles since its MOT in January. I kept them on the phone for over 3 minutes. I've reported all the calls to the police and have now blocked the number.

A no-nonsense way to deal with those dodgy accident claim calls is to just say there was no crash or injury, and then ask why they’re trying to get you to file a false claim. They usually just end the call after that.

Got a call from a bloke named Lee about some accident claim. I'm on the TPS list but to make a complaint you need a proper website and office address. Asked him for a website, he gave me [#]legal-care[###]. When I tried to check it out, I asked for their main office address. He said something like "we’re all over the place so just pick the one closest to you". Told him the site wasn’t working, and he just cut me off! Usually these dodgy callers ring again, so I’m waiting to get more info and report them to TPS properly.

Got a call from a hidden number but no voicemail or message was left. When I rang it back, all I got was a recorded voice saying something like "Voicemail, mailbox number" and then it hung up. So, I just added it to my rapidly growing pile of blocked spam callers.

I flagged this number a few months ago after getting constant calls from a woman from Liverpool who got quite rude when I told her to take my number off their list. I received a call today regarding an accident from three years back. This marks my sixth call from them this week alone! I ended up telling the chap that he sounded like one of those ambulance chasers, to which he cheekily remarked he’d love to witness an ambulance's rear end. I quipped that I could certainly help with that! Then, he had the nerve to claim I was threatening him and that the call would be documented. I reminded him my last mishap occurred a quarter of a century ago and suggested he find something more meaningful to do with his time.
