Got a call from Premier Talk totally out of nowhere. First, a young woman spoke, then another who was really pushy. They said they could lower my BT bill. I asked if they could send me details in the post, but they said they don’t do that. Then they started asking personal stuff, like about Power of Attorney, and even wanted my bank sort code. I told them I needed time to think, and after that their attitude switched, so I just ended the call. The numbers they called from were 03309122817 and 03309043146.

Got a call from Premier Talk saying I was overpaying BT and they could cut my costs in half if I paid them instead but kept BT as my provider! They were really dodgy about explaining how that would work, just kept saying they’d manage the billing but not the actual service. Couldn’t get them to say who runs the company either. 03309122817 - 01/02/23 rang but didnt leave a msg. Sounds like it’s tied to Inspire-Telecom, which i believe is a dodgy outfit. Best to stay clear of them. If you miss the 14 day cooling off window, they’ll try to charge ya for breaking their 2 year contract early. Just block any calls from them.

If you think Openreach actually offer phone or broadband services, you're just asking to get ripped off. They only deal with the cables that deliver the connection for internet companies like Sky, BT, TalkTalk, Plusnet and the like.

A woman said she was from Transparent Telecom and tried to get me to change my phone contract to Openreach to save money. Called back today, but this time "Clive" claimed to be from TRANSPARENT TELECOM instead of Expert Telecom like before. He said my line rental was around £23 and that I was with British Telecom. Both those things are wrong mate! Like others have mentioned, he kept going on about the BT Retail and Openreach links. Honestly, their site is so confusing when trying to figure out line rental + FTTC + call bundles, and all the prices exclude VAT, which I thought was against the rules for home customers.

Got a call from 03309122817, bloke said he was with Open Reach and worked alongside BT. He told me if I switched straight to Open Reach, my BT landline rental could be slashed by half.

They kicked off the call with incorrect details and asked for someone who isn’t real. They’d called another number about half an hour earlier, trying to talk to a person who’s never been connected to our company address. Total scam, no doubt about it!

So turns out it was Openreach - they've taken over BT and are now pushing cheaper bills. Then I got handed over to some colleague who sounded exactly like Ally but tried using a different voice. Tegan was apparently the 'first lady' or something.

Some bloke claiming to be from Open Reach called, saying he could lower my landline costs. He was speaking really quickly. I asked him to send me something in writing but he said that wasn’t their practice. I then told him I don’t discuss that kind of thing over the phone cause of all the scammers around and ended the call.

Got a call from this number earlier today. The person on the line knew my last name and claimed to be from BT. It was a woman reading off some lengthy script about changes at BT and cutting down my landline costs. She then started talking about broadband charges and gave her first name, before asking what mine was. I didn’t bother telling her and just said I’d heard enough before hanging up.

Kept getting calls from a loud office, accents were thick. Got proper rude when I asked who they were. Definitely a scam.

I received a call claiming to be affiliated with BT, suggesting they were connected to Open Reach. They inquired about my internet provider and assured me that they could significantly lower my line rental charges. However, I had my suspicions and asked them to send over the documentation. Totally a scam. They said they were from BT and trying to give me a better deal. But get this: 1) they knew my name 2) they had my unlisted home number 3) I’m not even a BT customer! When I questioned them, they just hung up on me.

I received a call from someone trying to persuade me to take up a discounted landline rental since BT is about to hike their prices soon. I wasn't interested and told them so, but to my surprise, they promptly disconnected the line. Not quite the courteous service I expected, I must say. This all happened at 09:39 on the 4th of March, 2022.

Got a call on my dad's old landline. The woman claimed she was from BT and said she wanted to help cut down our phone bills. I told her to send info by email, asked for her email, and said if she really worked for BT she’d already have ours. She got a bit shifty and I just ended the call. Definitely not BT. Got a cold call from TPS - I was polite but this rude lady just cut me off. From what I've heard, Premier Telecom is legit, but they really need to sort out their staff's attitude!

Some woman from Premier-Talk called me, saying they could seriously cut down my BT phone bill. She even pointed me to Trust Pilot reviews to make it sound legit. But after checking out other comments here, it seems like lots of folks think it’s a bit fishy, maybe even a scam. I tend to agree. When I asked her to send something in writing, she just hung up - cosily though, i gotta admit.

I’m pretty sure this number is dodgy. The people who call are a white couple, speak all polite but super quick like they’re used to telemarketing, probably in their twenties. They chat about all sorts, from cuts on BT bills to getting your house insulated. Definitely not calling from India and they don’t seem very creative. Honestly, they’re just some low life #### taking advantage of vulnerable people, and I honestly wish they had miserable lives stuck with their own messed up family.
