On the 12th of August, 2021, I received a rather curious call. The person on the line attempted to entice me with some sort of price drop after BT's division into two separate entities. They inquired about how much I forked out for my broadband alongside my landline. When I replied that I didn't pay a penny extra, they promptly ended the conversation. Quite peculiar, really!

I received a call from someone purporting to be Ellie, who insisted they were handling a contract linked to my BT account. The only issue is, I don’t actually have an account with BT! Quite clearly a scammer trying their luck, I suspect…
