03309120969 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 03309120969 👆 is reported as a number used in a widespread scam involving fake one-time passcode texts allegedly from major banks like Barclays and Santander, warning of unauthorised Airbnb payments. Recipients are urged not to call the provided fraud numbers, as these are fraudulent and aim to extract personal and financial details. Many targets do not even hold accounts with the named banks, confirming the illegitimacy. The messages often insist on confirming payments of similar sums, which is inconsistent with genuine bank communications. Users strongly advise ignoring these texts, not responding or sharing information, and only contacting your bank directly through official channels if concerned. This scam is persistent and should be treated with caution to prevent identity theft or financial loss.

Got a text with a code, 572073, saying I bought something for £915.37 from AIRBNB - Ref: CWF1F. Thing is, I didn't make that purchase. If anyone else got this, better ring 0330 912 7969 to check it out.

Got a call today supposedly from Santander about a payment of £707.59, just like a few others here have mentioned. Pretty sure it’s a scam.

Got a message from Santander about a one-time code 642041 for a payment of £642. Then there was a mention of AIRBNB with reference SPV829. I'm pretty sure this is a scam, so I’m reporting it as fraud now...

Got a dodgy text claiming to be from Barclaycard with a one-time code for some Airbnb charge. It said to ring their “fraud team” on 0330 912 0969 if I hadn’t made the payment. Don’t bother calling that number - it’s fake! The genuine Barclaycard fraud number is actually 0800 318 665. Stay safe, folks!

This text looks exactly like loads of other ones people have mentioned before, saying something like, “Your One Time Passcode is 083621 for a payment of £302.89 to AIRBNB - Ref: JL9210A. If that’s not you, ring our fraud team on 0330 912 0969.” It’s clearly dodgy since it’s impossible for two separate people to get the same code for one payment! Also, the way this message is written doesn’t match any of the real messages I’ve had from Barclays before.
