Got a message from Barclays saying there's a one time code 083621 for a 302.89GBP payment to AIRBNB with ref JL9210A. If you didn’t make this payment, you’re supposed to ring their fraud department at 0330 165 9357. Just a heads up if anyone else gets this!

Got a dodgy text claiming to be from Barclaycard with a one-time code for some Airbnb charge. It said to ring their “fraud team” on 0330 912 0969 if I hadn’t made the payment. Don’t bother calling that number - it’s fake! The genuine Barclaycard fraud number is actually 0800 318 665. Stay safe, folks!

This text looks exactly like loads of other ones people have mentioned before, saying something like, “Your One Time Passcode is 083621 for a payment of £302.89 to AIRBNB - Ref: JL9210A.
