Got a bunch of annoying calls poppin up all the time. It's so frustrating!

Somebody rang me claiming they were from the Monzo bank fraud team, saying my card was being used suspiciously on Amazon. They said it looked like my Amazon account had been compromised. I told them my card is usually frozen apart from when I make a payment, and the day before I actually bought a book from Amazon so I figured that's when my details might've been stolen. Just to point out, Monzo never contacts you by phone unless you’ve arranged it beforehand through the app notifications. So yeah, don’t trust any random calls from your bank unless you’ve set it up yourself.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Curries broadband, they even used my name and said they could boost my internet speed and give me a better deal than what I’ve got now. Didn’t fall for it though.

Over the last couple of days, this number has rung me thrice. I managed to pick up two of those times, and both times the call just got cut off right away. No messages or anything left behind either. Honestly, I have no clue who they are, but I’d advise against picking up if this number pops up.

Don’t pick up, just block. I got a robotic message saying it was from Currys, but when I tried ringing back nothing happened so I just ended the call. Definitely just block them straight away!
