I received a phone call from this number, and it appeared to be someone from India claiming to represent EE. They had access to my previous account information. Later on, they rang me again using the number 0330 808 8126.

The person on the phone claimed to be from EE, saying they were shutting down some kind of card. Their accent was very thick and they spoke way too quick. I told them to slow down a couple of times because I couldn’t catch what they were saying. Then, when I asked again about which card was being cancelled, they got annoyed and just ended the call. It was very clear it was a scam. If it had actually been EE, they’d have at least had my name right.

I received a call from a person with limited English claiming to be from EE. I decided to cut the conversation short and end the call.

Received a call purportedly from EE, warning me that the 4G service was going to be discontinued. I couldn’t believe it! I mentioned to the caller that I'd previously reached out to my provider, who confirmed there was no such plan in motion. The representative from EE had assured me all was well, suggesting this was just a dodgy call.
So, I pressed the caller on their department within EE, and lo and behold, the line went silent.

Definitely a scam!
