I recently encountered what appears to be a fraudulent health survey. I've taken the liberty of flagging it to Ofcom via their 7726 spam reporting service.

I received a phone call claiming they were affiliated with the government and the citizens' advisory service. They've managed to acquire my personal information—how might this impact me going forward?

I received a phone call claiming to be from public health, discussing Covid vaccinations. Out of the blue, they started inquiring whether I had life insurance. When I mentioned that kind of information was personal, they became quite confrontational. Curiously, I had similar calls a few days prior from another number altogether.

I keep receiving incessant calls from someone wanting to chat about my private health insurance. They seem to know which company I'm with, which is quite baffling. Their approach is rather bold and aggressive. I’ve reached out to my actual provider, and they've assured me it's a fraudulent call. These nuisances ring me at least once a month, and it’s incredibly annoying!

Received a call purporting to be from the British Medical Association, claiming they had access to my medical records. They abruptly ended the conversation when I probed further about how they obtained that information.

Received a call from someone with an Indian/Pakistani accent purporting to be from UK Money Advice. I swiftly informed them that I wasn’t interested and disconnected the call. To make matters worse, they had my name, which I absolutely detest. I've blocked the number and reported it as a scam.

Received a chilly call on my private number—no message left, of course. It’s always the dodgy ones who pull this sort of stunt, isn’t it? Proper callers take the time to hear my voicemail and leave a proper message for me to get back to them. Just confirms my suspicions about these sorts!

I've just added this number to my blocked list after perusing these reviews. It’s become such a bother – I find myself inundated with as many as 10 calls daily, and I never pick up the phone for a single one of them!

I've signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, so these calls should not be coming through to me. This is the third time in just two days that I’ve received calls from numbers that are strikingly similar. It’s high time these fraudsters were dealt with. They clearly have no respect for the TPS regulations.

They addressed me by my first name, as if we were on familiar terms, and claimed to be from the credit investigation division—sans any business name. That was enough for me to end the call swiftly.
