A woman with an Indian accent, representing a firm called Amafi out of London, kept addressing me as Jennifer, who apparently resides in Birmingham-definitely not me! She was peddling some dodgy internet package, insisting it would save me pounds. Spouted a load of drivel about their supposed ties to Currys. She wanted to sell me a whole bundle of services. When I inquired about how they got hold of my number, she said it was from Openreach. Gave me a right load of balderdash about consent and how I supposedly entered an Amazon competition and inadvertently agreed to share my details!
