Got a call from someone claiming to be from a leisure firm, asking about a meter reading and wanting to speak to folks in Tarporley. Strange thing is, they had my number and asked for two people I've never heard of. They said my number was linked to their account, which is pretty odd. I told them to remove my number, but now I'm left wondering if it was some kinda scam. Might just block it to be safe.

That’s rather peculiar! They not only had my name and number, but they also got my address completely wrong. They claimed they were ringing regarding the installation of a smart meter for British Gas, but the funny thing is, I don’t even have an account with them! How strange is that?
