I got a call from someone claiming to be the council, saying they wanted to inspect my place for any mould or damage that might need fixing. Thing is, I don’t live in a council property, and I could tell the number wasn’t from the local council anyway, so I just ended the call.

I got a call supposedly from Lloyds Bank saying there was a £430.34 payment taken from my account. What gave them away straight away was how they spelt Lloyds - totally wrong! I messaged back to let them know I wasn’t fooled. Then they had the cheek to say I’d become a co-conspirator because I helped him fix the spelling mistake. What a joke! Honestly, watch out for this kind of scammer - they’re so daft they admit to their own scam. If you get anything like this from any bank, just report it and block the number. Stay safe everyone!
