Got a ring from 03308088594 about cutting down payments on my life and mortgage insurance. I pretended to be interested and asked which of my loads of insurances they could lower, and they said all of them. Now I’m just sitting here waiting for some paperwork like a “valued customer”. Couple of issues tho, he’s got no clue who I am or where I live, so don’t expect anything anytime soon!

Just ignore it, another dodgy spammer, they got a website but no proper contact info anywhere. Keep in mind, real businesses dont randomly call or email you out of the blue. Be careful out there!

Got a random SCAM call about my life insurance (which I don’t even have). The bloke on the phone with a weird accent said he had a list of people with policies from AVIVA, Direct Line, and others. When I asked him which policy and company, he couldn’t give me an answer. Said he didn’t have the info in front of him but wasn’t selling anything, just doing an independent review. I kept quiet and didn’t share any details until he suddenly hung up on me. These sorts of muppets are dangerous and exploit folks who are vulnerable, they really ought to be stopped.

Got a random call from someone saying they were ReAssure, wanting to chat about my life insurance. The guy claimed his firm dealt with AVIVA, Standard Life and others. When I asked where they got my info from and which company he was actually calling for, he just cut the call straight away. Definitely seems like a scam!

Got these annoying life insurance calls, ringing me about four times every day. I keep blocking the numbers but they seem to have endless ones. Eventually I picked up and said I was driving, the person just went quiet and hung up. Really, who would sign up with people pestering them like this? Going to block them all over again.

Got a call from someone pushing life insurance, claiming they work with well-known companies like Aviva or something. I recently asked a couple of firms about private health cover for a group outside my job, so I guess BUPA or another provider shared my info with these lot. Isn't GDPR supposed to stop all these annoying calls?? With websites like GO compare and Moneysupermarket, you can easily check stuff yourself. Why bother with cold calls anymore?!

Proper rude that, I just said to the bloke that I’d just heard some awful news about someone ending their life an hour before he rang. But he just kept going on about how it’s a good time to get insurance cover or whatever. Nah mate, my head’s not in it at all. Hey yeah I’ve gotten quite a few calls from this number and I honestly have no idea who they are. Like someone else said, I saw the number and just thought “oh not this again” so I just ignored it. Just my two cents but I’d say don’t pick up unless it’s a landline or someone you recognise. Especially if you’re expecting stuff like hospital appointments or results, you want to make sure you answer those calls. But with this number, better not bother - it’s definitely a scam, total rubbish.
