for months now, this claim firm has been ringing me up about a crash that never took place, started before xmas even. ive told them loads of times to stop calling, ive even blocked the numbers but they just keep coming from other numbers! no idea what they’re trying to achieve. i just end up ignoring the calls and blocking each new number they use.

Some lady phoned saying she wanted to lower my life insurance premiums by updating my details. She knew my name but got my address and whether I smoke all wrong. I told her she wasn’t my insurance agent and that I’d only talk to my provider straight. Then she asked if I had any life insurance documents with me. I said yes, and she just hung up after that.

Watch out, this is definitely a rip-off. They try to get all your private info about your life insurance. Best to just steer clear completely.

They’ve phoned me a couple of times already, and I failed to block them after the first. Tried looking online to figure out who it might be or where the call is coming from, but found nothing. Definitely don’t call back - they’re probably just seeing if the number is active by being silent. If you do ring back, you’ll probably be swamped with loads more annoying calls from random firms. Best to just ignore it and block the number straight away.
