Picked up the phone and a lady with an Indian accent said she was calling from O2 about a 40% discount for customers who always pay their bills on time. I told her to remove my number from their list as I stopped being with O2 nearly 5 years ago and don’t want any more calls. She was polite, wished me a nice day, said bye and then ended the call.

Picked up the phone and got sent straight to an answerphone saying I’d had a call from Hugh and m recovery but all lines are busy right now. This has happened a couple times now, but last time they said they were from the aftercare crew.

Got a call from a David Jones in Liverpool on my private number. He talked about some failed pension or investment, mentioning names like dolphin, greyfriars, and rowanmoor. Claimed he got my info from Alan in the investment review team. When I asked who Alan was and requested a contact number or email, he just cut the call. Be careful and don’t give any info to these lot - they’re definitely scammers.

Got a call from a bloke in Liverpool about some debt from nearly a year ago. He was asking if I'd managed to sort it out or if I wanted help with it. I honestly don’t recall ever dealing with him before, so I just ended the call.

Got a call about my car being declared a write-off recently. The lady didnt bother to verify any of my info for GDPR. When I asked the company name, she just said "the aftercare team" or sumthin like that. Asked again who she was working for, same answer "the aftercare team". When I asked if she was calling from my lawyers, she just cut me off and hung up. Bit rude if you ask me.

Got a call from some Scouse lady from the "aftercare" lot - she already knew my name and when the accident happened within a week or so. She said she couldn't give me many details right then because the date was off, but promised to ring me back when she sorts the correct file. I'm planning to record the next call and have a bit of a laugh with them and maybe the ombudsman too! Haha!

I ask them to prove who they are first but all they say is to answer the questions straight away - then they just hang up!
