I told him I wasn’t sure if my life insurance was valid. When he asked for my personal info, I said if he already had it, I wasn’t comfortable sharing more. After that, he kept pressuring me, which was really annoying. I kept saying I don’t talk to strangers about this kind of thing, but he just ignored me. Eventually, I just hung up and blocked his number.

Somebody rang me claiming to be from Aviva, saying they needed my bank info to upgrade my life insurance plan - which I don’t even have. They emailed me after, asking me to complete some forms. The odd part was they already had my full name. But I’m sure a genuine company wouldn’t ask for bank details through email like that.

I was looking into funeral plans on the internet and then started getting loads of missed calls from 01617680535, weirdly on a Saturday when they’re supposed to be closed. Answered once and all I could hear was some bloke talking to someone else, and I think he said something like “Don’t phone it”. Sounds like a manager telling their mate not to call me back.
