I got ripped off for £409 when I was trying to get a £2000 loan. They kept saying it was just a small loan, but when I asked more, they admitted it wasn’t small at all. They said I’d sent the cash to some 'little loans' company, but all along I was dealing with the same guy, Tony. Now they’re telling me to block their number, claiming they don’t have my money and that no loan will be given to me!

Today I got a call from someone saying I had to send money to a bloke named Daniel in India. They said I had to pay a £50 fee first, but I told them no. Then they went and sent me £250 and said I had to send it back via Western Union to prove my identity. Honestly, what the heck is going on?

They ended up scamming me for about £190. I’ve already reported it to Action Fraud. The scammers are using accounts with Santander and Natwest, but from what I’ve seen, these banks haven’t really done anything to help. My incident happened yesterday, on 1st November 2016. Honestly, I’d recommend everyone to contact Action Fraud if you get caught up in something similar.
