I've been inundated with a barrage of pesky phone calls lately. It's becoming rather tiresome, to say the least!

got a call from some dodgy company pretending to be amazon seller support, saying there’s a security issue with my amazon account. i might’ve fallen for it if they’d rang me from the number listed on my account rather than the openly available customer help line. feels like a total scam to me.

somebody rang me up saying they could sort me out a loan with a great rate, but weirdly, there was no paperwork or anything to sign. they wanted me to chuck in 155 quid upfront, promising the cash would hit my bank within half an hour. totally dodgy - best steer clear. the bloke called himself 'brian johnson', had a strong indian accent, and got nasty when i refused to pay. honestly, don’t fall for it, don’t send them a penny!

Just had a call from 02033182758, the person said they were from Instant Lending. Luckily I didn't send any cash after coming across this blog which warned me about scams like this. They even gave me an account number and sort code, asking me to transfer £172, which felt dodgy right away. I’m planning to report this to Action Fraud now. Really grateful for this info - bet loads of folks will be glad to know it’s a scam too.

Don’t trust these lot, never hand over your cash or bank info. They somehow deposited £110 into my account and then asked me to pay a PPI insurance fee through Western Union. Turns out it was just some random person’s upfront charge they’d scammed. After that, they left me a creepy voicemail, threatening to involve the cops and bank, saying I’d end up in jail (their exact words). So glad I spotted their game!

About ten minutes ago, I had a similar experience. They got really rude and told me to "go to hell" because I wasn’t paying attention. They managed to take £140 from me, and now I’m waiting to hear back about a refund that’s supposed to come in 14 days. Seriously, don’t hand over any cash to these lot - they’re proper scammers and so disrespectful!

I received a call from this number claiming that my loan application had been approved. They insisted I needed to deposit an upfront fee of £149, promising that the funds would be in my account within the hour. It didn't sit right with me, and I immediately felt a sense of unease, so I decided to look up the number online. Thankfully, I found this website just in time and avoided making any payment. When I called them back to cancel my application, they seemed quite eager to know my reasons. As soon as I expressed my discomfort with the upfront payment and the lack of any proper terms or contracts, they abruptly ended the call. One lady answered initially and introduced herself as part of "Instant Loans", but when I rang back, another person picked up and claimed to represent "Pay Day Loans". Clearly, they couldn't even keep their story straight! My advice? Stay well away from these guys!

My wife gave them £52 at the start, then was told to hang on for 30 mins. After that, they called back asking for a further £129. Total con. Natwest confirmed the cash left her account straight away. Both my wife and Natwest have now put this in the hands of the police. I'd recommend anyone else who's been caught out do the same. The name linked to the payment was Mr Quadri or something like that. Natwest made an effort to get the money back and were helpful, but unfortunately no luck so far. Watch out for this one.

I was hoping to borrow £15,000 but they said I'd end up making 84 payments totalling nearly £19,000 over seven years. They asked for the first month upfront plus £524 for taxes. I ended up paying £624 before realising something was wrong. I went to the branch and was told it’s a scam. I thought I was quite clever but got duped anyway. Seriously, don’t get caught up in their smooth talk. I forgot the old saying in the rush, "if it sounds too good, it probably is." Absolute scammers, watch out!

So this number rang me a couple of times, each time with a slightly different code at the end. They promised me a loan, but only if I paid the initial deposit first. Foolishly, I sent them £70, thinking it'd be sorted. They told me to wait around half an hour for it to clear, but then about an hour later they called again demanding another £199 for some "taxes". Seriously, don’t hand over any cash to these lot!

I was approached for a £2000 loan and they requested an upfront payment of £85. They assured me that the funds would be in my account in 45 minutes, but nothing came through. When they called back, they said I had to cough up more cash, which, foolishly, I did. They promised that the funds would arrive by the next day, but still, nothing appeared. Then they had the audacity to ask for £350, which I refused to pay. When I tried to cancel everything and reclaim my money, they flatly refused, claiming I was too late. Absolute scam! Avoid this at all costs!

Got a call supposedly from some loan firm saying it was about my loan request with Instant Lending Co. They wanted me to pay the first payment upfront before I'd get any money. Sounded fishy to me.

I requested to be removed from their database, yet they continue to harass me with calls from mobile numbers, hurling vile and menacing threats towards my family. It's absolutely appalling. I'm documenting these numbers and planning to report them to the police.

Complete scam, if you ask me! I received a call from this number claiming my loan application was approved by creditpoor.co.uk, but they insisted I send over a month's instalment of £125 upfront for a £3,000 loan. I can’t believe I didn't do my homework first! Then they rang me again, spinning another tale about government taxes. Suddenly, the amount escalated to £399 that would be refunded later. Naturally, I refused to cough up any more cash, and they threatened to halt my loan application. I reluctantly agreed to their terms with the promise that my initial £125 would be returned within 14 days. Well, I'm now just biding my time, waiting for those two weeks to roll by.

They assured me that I'd be granted a loan, but insisted on an upfront payment first, which I complied with. The following day, they called me to say that it would be delayed because the manager had left for the day. When I received their call the next day, they started babbling on about some convoluted government tax nonsense. Honestly, it all seems like a massive scam to me!

Scammers, that’s what they are. They instructed me to transfer money to their account with the promise that my loan would be credited within half an hour. Well, it’s been a while now and still nothing has landed in my account. I’m definitely taking this matter up with my bank and law enforcement.
