I've just had a call from this number (0330 808 1753). The caller addressed me as Mrs (used my actual name), and it was a British woman who didn’t bother to clarify who she was working for. I informed her that I wasn’t the individual she was after and requested to be removed from her list. In light of this, I’ve promptly added the number to my block list.

Somebody rang me saying they were with HMRC and threatened me with legal trouble over supposed unpaid tax. They were really pushy and said they'd involve the police if I didn't pay straight away. If this number pops up on your phone, I'd say just ignore it. I double-checked with the real HMRC afterwards, and they told me they never call like that or use that number. They said if there was an issue, they’d always write to you instead. Definitely a scam!
