This isn’t the first time they’ve called asking for a person who doesn’t live here. Honestly, I’m so sick of these calls and all the scammy ones I get daily. Wish there was a way to stop them.

I picked up when they rang but as soon as I said hello, the line just dropped. They rang again later but I didn’t pick up, and when I checked the voicemail it was just silence, no message at all.

I keep receiving calls from this number, and it’s becoming quite the nuisance. Just the other morning, I was jolted awake at 4.00 am by a call - particularly distressing, given that a family member was in hospital recovering from a heart attack. The panic that set in when the phone rang was unbearable. It really makes you wonder why such companies are allowed to operate. They ought to be shut down!

They rang my 9 year old son's phone, which I got him just to use as a hotspot for his gadgets. No one else has this number and I never use it, only topping up his internet. So this woman said it was about something personal and asked for a reference number? I asked what she was on about and told her the story. She couldn’t even give me a name, so I said, "I track people down for a living and deal with them, so if she doesn't want trouble, she better not ring here again." Sorted.

They go by ACI. They keep ringing me but dont have a clue about my number and cant seem to take my info off their list even tho ive told them loads of times theyre after someone Ive never met or lived here.

This number keeps sending me texts non stop and also calls me loads of times with no caller ID, always at the weirdest hours. When I pick up, they either hang up straight away or just stay quiet. The messages say they’re trying to reach my boyfriend, which is strange cos they’re messaging me but want him to respond about some personal or legal stuff. They also keep saying “this isn’t a marketing message” and include the same reference number every time. Seriously weird behaviour.

Received a letter from these people with this number right at the top, saying my current loan with Avant Credit had been handed over to them and they wanted me to ring to arrange a payment plan. I checked out the Asset Collections website but couldn’t find this number anywhere. I’m defo going to get in touch with Avant to check if this is legit cos I don’t owe them anything. Honestly, not sure why they’d pass it to someone else. BE CAREFUL - I flagged this as possibly dodgy!

I keep receiving calls from this number, along with a barrage of messages. They are incessantly searching for someone named Stephen Holmes. It appears to be something to do with debt recovery. Earlier today, I took the time to listen to a voicemail that instructed me to press 2 if I’m not Stephen Holmes, so I did, as I’m increasingly concerned that these debt collectors might come after me due to this mix-up (even though I'm not a man!). Eventually, I connected to a call centre, where a lady answered and asked for a reference number, which I had no idea about. When I mentioned that I’m clueless about the whole situation, she just hung up abruptly. It's all rather strange and suspicious. These calls have been coming in with alarming regularity, and I genuinely need them to cease!
