Received a text from 759 saying I had a new voicemail from 03308081040 and to call 759 to hear it. That’s not the usual number I use for my voicemails, so I thought it was a scam and didn’t want to risk paying to call. Just a heads up to be careful!

Never told me who they were but asked about a car crash I was supposedly in. I joked if they could talk to the dead since, according to the paramedics, I was declared dead at the scene after my priest gave me last rites. I was in the middle of a crucial chat with my bookie on the landline when this loud, lederhosen-clad eejit rang my trusty mobile. I picked up, trying to get back to my bookie, only to realise the caller had no actual reason to be ringing me. I blocked the muppet and attempted to ring my bookie again, only to discover the race was just kicking off, so I couldn’t place a bet. The horse lost anyway, so I suppose I owe that daft caller a thank you for sparing me a quid.

They’re not actually LV, more like a company pretending to be LV. I missed a call from them and when I rang back, they said they were LV insurance and were calling about an accident I’d had. It threw me off a bit because by chance, I had a no-fault accident with a driver insured by the real LV (London and Victoria) back in Feb 2018! LV sorted everything fully within a few weeks! I told the person this. She said they'd make a note of it. But since then, I’ve had two more calls from L:VI.

Got a call from LVI about a car crash supposedly from sometime in the last couple of years. Thing is, I haven’t been in any accident during that time. Told the person who called, and they just ended the call. Tried calling the number back, but someone else answered saying they were from a different department, and still said it was LVI. I’ve never dealt with LVI before and they couldn’t say why they rang me. Told them to remove my info from their system.
