Like many others, I also received a call claiming that I was due a payment of £750, with the assurance that I wouldn't have to disclose my bank details. When they requested my National Insurance number, I politely declined and they went on to inquire when I could return their call with that information ready. A quick glance at Companies House reveals that the business is classified as dormant, with a mere £1 in assets. It's rather blatant as a scam, yet they managed to sound quite persuasive during the conversation. It’s quite alarming, to say the least.

I had a rather alarming phone call just now. The caller knew my address and insisted that I was owed a sum of £750 from Santander. They proceeded to ask for my personal information before abruptly hanging up and instructing me to check my email. After looking into it here, it’s evident that this is definitely a scam.

I received a call from the number 03301748334, claiming to represent Samson Collier regarding a PPI claim from my dealings with MBNA back in 2020, alleging that they owed me £750. They asked for quite a few details, including my National Insurance number, and then proceeded to email me a document to fill out and return while we were still on the line. However, after doing a bit of research and checking some online reviews, I quickly realised it was a fraudulent operation. The call felt somewhat credible at first, but I decided to hang up. I've now blocked the number to prevent any further hassle!

Received a rather dubious call from a person purporting to be with Samson Collier, insisting that I had some outstanding funds from my PPI that they would send me via cheque. They had all my details-my complete name and, of course, my mobile number. The call came through from 0331 630 0339. I decided to end the conversation promptly.

Picked up the phone and the voice was all weird and scratchy. They gave some short info about a PCP deal on a car I don’t even have. Feels like the DVLA might be handing out personal info and pushing folks into scams, all for just a small fee. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

Picked up the phone and the voice was really warped. The caller only mentioned some shortened name of a firm, saying I supposedly had a PCP contract on a vehicle I’ve never even had. Honestly think the DVLA might be leaking personal info and pushing people into scams all for a measly fiver. What a joke.

I got a call from a person saying they were from Samson Collier about a PPI claim they said I had. They mentioned they sent me a letter last year and wanted to give me the money now. I told them I never made any claim like that, so I just hung up and blocked their number. Definitely a scam in my opinion.

I received an unexpected call on my mobile from a company calling themselves Samson Collier, claiming that I was entitled to a PPI refund from either 2018 or 2019, for which I allegedly paid taxes. They went on to ask if I’d be pleased to receive a cheque for £750 sent to my address, which they clearly had access to. I instantly thought it smelt fishy and decided not to entertain their dubious offer.

Received a call just a moment ago. The person claimed that HMRC has funds owed to me and mentioned sending a letter my way. They had my name, my previous address, and were aware of my PPI claim. I provided them with a bogus email address. Not planning to pick up if they ring again.

I’ve just had a rather odd message telling me I’d submitted a PPI claim concerning my taxes. Naturally, I was taken aback and stated that I hadn’t made any such claim. Then the bloke started mentioning some correspondence from a company called Samson Collier. I informed him that I had not seen any letter from them, nor had I lodged a claim for anything. He assured me he’d make a note of it in their system. Strangely, he seemed to have all my details, including my full name and address. Quite dodgy, really!

I got a call from someone claiming to be Samson Collier about a tax refund related to a PPI claim I made some time ago. They mentioned HMRC and sent me a letter with a massive form to fill out to get the tax back. But during the phone call, all they wanted was my NI number and a signed letter of authorisation. They also sent me an email with a link to click on, and called me a couple more times after that. I’m pretty wary about this whole thing, so I’ve decided not to reply to the emails or answer the calls.
