A mate of mine got scammed by some dodgy lot, they basically sold him something that’s probably worth less than £50, but charged nearly £150 for it. Bit harsh on someone who didn’t stand a chance.

Seems like there are a few different phone numbers linked to infinitycallblocker dot co dot uk. The one currently shown on their site is 0330-808-0359. I got a call from 0131-367-0374, and I noticed they also use 0330-027-1567. I tried ringing all three yesterday, Sunday, and each one played the same pre-recorded message, saying they’re Infinity Call Blocker. I reckon they’ve got quite a few more numbers they use, so watch out for these dodgy calls.

where it’s supposedly the customer support line.

Honestly, I’m firmly convinced that the call-blocking gadget or application they’re pushing is nothing short of a con. A landline phone blocker that relies on an app? What utter nonsense!

It’s quite telling that their webpage lacks any details about how one might purchase the app. You won’t find an infinity call blocker on the Google Play store either.

I must admit, they’ve done a decent job with the website's aesthetics. However, don’t fall for it!

Don’t trust this number at all. Someone phoned me from a different number pretending to be legit. When I asked for a website, they told me it was www.infinitycallblocker.co.uk. Turns out the site shows this exact number. The website looks really well made, but it’s rubbish. A landline call blocker working on a mobile? That’s not possible. The site is just there to try and make scammers look real. Stay clear. My take: Complete SCAM.

I got a call from a lady who quickly handed me over to someone she called an ‘advisor’. This person was oddly quick to read out the first 4 digits of my debit card and then asked for the expiry date. They were trying to pitch me some “free call blocking” thing, supposedly connected to 02 and TalkTalk. When I refused to give the fifth digit, they got really rude and irritable. I rang my bank right away, and they cancelled my card straight away. Total scam, stay clear!

My nan, who’s just gone through losing my granddad, got a call from some mug pretending to help. She was so upset she ended up believing them, thinking they’d sort out the one thing she really needed. Turns out it was all a scam and she got done over!

This bloke said he was from some place called Infinity call blocking or something, and he already had my details like name and where I live. He even said he had my card number but I never gave him anything. I refused to confirm any info and then he just hung up. The caller sounded like he was Asian, and he told me to ring back on 0330 808 0359. Seemed fishy to me.

Today I got a call from a woman saying she was with some call blocking company named Infinity Callblocking. She was really pushing to get my card details but luckily I didn’t give them out. The lady said her name was Alina Parkinson and said the firm is located in Dorset. They also said they work with BT, but I’m suspicious about all that.

My elderly dad got a call from 03308080359, and the people on the line kept saying he owed some money. When he phoned them back, it was pretty hard to catch what they were saying but they claimed to be from "Infinity Call Blocker" and mentioned my dad had supposedly signed up for their service back in 2019. This is total nonsense, definitely a scam - stay clear of these people!

I got a call from someone claiming to provide a “free” call blocker for elderly folks. When they asked me to give my bank card info, I quickly hung up. Definitely a no from me!

My mate got caught out by this Infinite Call Blocker lot - they're targeting elderly people with vulnerable pensions, pushing their call blocking service on them. They ended up charging him £149.99 for it and handed over a BT Infinity 3110 phone that’s only worth about £30. Proper dodgy if you ask me.
