Got a call from someone claiming to be with a firm that does boiler and plumbing cover. They said if I signed up on the spot, they'd knock the price down from £250 to £160. When I asked for the company name to note it down, they just wouldn’t say. Also, they couldn’t really explain how the service worked properly. Once I said I wasn’t paying right away, they just hung up. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
