0330 777 2266 kept ringing, and whenever I picked up, there was just silence. After reading the other comments, I figured it might be some sort of trading scam. I get around 10 calls daily, mostly from an Alton area code (01420) and some weird mobile numbers I don’t recognise. I’ve tried telling a few folks with broken English on the 01420 line to remove me from their list, but they keep calling nonstop and don’t seem to care.

Got two calls within a couple hours. Picked up the first but no one said anything, so I ended it after just a few seconds. Couldn't be bothered with the second one, left it ringing then decided to block the number.

Got a call from someone saying I’d opened a share trading account, which I definitely haven’t. Super annoying and a weird scam attempt if you ask me.

Seems like they’re breaking quite a few rules, GDPR included. Apparently I agreed to some share trading thing back in March, which I have no memory of. When I questioned it, they claimed it was likely due to a cookie from a website or a Facebook ad. I told them to delete all my info from their records and then blocked their number.

Got a call on my mobile from some muppets, they didn’t even say why they were ringing and then put me through to some bloke from America. The call dropped after a bit and then they rang me back on this number. I smelt a scam straight away, so I told the caller I’d looked up all their numbers online. When I joked about them trying to scam me, they hung up super quick. Added another four numbers to my blocked list now. What a waste of time!

These days I keep getting calls from numbers like 0151 808 1730, 01524 414098 and even 07520 644818, all about some dodgy bitcoin trading stuff. It's getting proper annoying now. Honestly, thinking of just downloading one of those call blocking apps to stop all the hassle.
