They kept calling from different mobile numbers, pretending they were a children’s charity. It felt really dodgy, like they were trying to trick people.

They mentioned I was coughing up £266 a year for some drainage cover but couldn’t say who I was paying it to. Kept pushing a cheaper deal and got pretty stubborn about it. I kept asking how they knew my payments if they didn’t even know who I was with! Eventually, I just hung up on them. Hilarious, really.

I told them to use the info they already had, but they just hung up. Definitely a scam, wouldn’t trust anything they say.
