I received a call from a robotic voice stating, "If your debts exceed £5000..." I didn't bother to listen any further, so I hung up and promptly blocked the number.

Honestly, if you owe around £5000 and can manage to pay about £75 a month, then there's no point in trusting those automated call services with no one actually there to help. Feels like a total scam to me.
