I got a call from someone saying they were with 'Magentis', trying to get me involved in some crypto trading scam.

It showed up as "Boss calling systems" on my phone. Totally sketchy if you ask me. I wouldn’t answer it, not worth the hassle.

Got a call where the person was super hard to hear, like the line was really messed up, and they wanted to speak to me by name. I tried to get their name but couldn't make it out at all. The call then dropped after about 41 seconds. I rang the number back and some automated message with an American accent answered saying “Boss Connection, please enter your registered phone number”, then it just hung up on me.

We use a call blocker, so luckily they couldn’t get past it. Still, we got a couple of calls at about 3am - just one ring each time but enough to wake us up. Honestly, what a bunch of scoundrels!

I’m really pleased I didn’t pick up when they called because I checked this website afterwards and it seems dodgy!

This number didn't show up on BT Call Guardian for me, so I’m guessing it was either a telemarketer or some sort of scam call. I've gone ahead and blocked it now.

So this number rang me up sayin they had a parcel for me with a laptop inside and wanted to send it over. When I asked which company they were working for, they just kept quiet. Then when I asked for my name confirmation, they couldn’t answer properly. Total dodgy scammers, don’t trust em!

Had a voicemail saying I was about to be arrested for fraud and to call a case officer on 01618503299. Decided to check the number and realised it was a scam. Best to block it if it rings you too.

It's really frustrating that no one seems able to stop these scammers. I reckon the phone companies are partly to blame since they must know exactly who they're letting use their networks, but they turn a blind eye because it earns them cash. I doubt these firms offer credit to the fraudsters, yet they couldn't care less when these criminals vanish, leaving vulnerable folks out of pocket. The government should really step in and do something about it.

I got called by a nice lady from the UK who was trying to pitch some new type of insulation. She seemed really friendly and honest, but I’d still be careful with it.

I gave my number to some place named eMarketsTrade, and ever since they’ve been blowing up my phone. You can tell by their accent they’re probably from India, and they keep trying to chat me up about crypto trading. Even after I’ve asked them to quit calling, they just won’t stop.

Got a call the other day about some "investment opportunity" with binary options. Seemed a bit sketchy to me, sounded like another one of those dodgy trading schemes. Told them I wasn’t interested and hung up quick. Definitely felt like a scam, so watch out if you get a similar call!

Got a call where the voice said “hello” then “are you ok?” sounded like one of those dodgy child voice changers. I didn’t say anything and they just ended the call.

I’m living overseas at the moment and over the past few days I’ve called me mum and dad’s home phone from my foreign number. Strangely, when they answer, it looks like my number is popping up on their caller ID. Anyone know what’s causing this? Could my phone be compromised even though I’m 2000 miles away, or is this just some odd fluke?

I tried calling my daughter who’s abroad, but instead of showing my number, her phone displayed this number when I rang. She didn’t pick up either.

Got a call from some automated voice claiming my IP address was hacked by folks overseas and that I had to let their "tech" fix it right away. Sounds like a scam to me. If there was really an issue, my actual internet company would reach out, not some dodgy robot message!
